My name is Janice Hovelmann. My husband Richard and I have had this kennel since 1980. Prior to this I was Janice McGoldrick and started my previous kennel in 1960.

Westminister Kennel Club - 1970. Judge - Mrs. Alice Seekins
I started with my first dog purchased from Mildred Sheridan Davis from Park-Cliffe Kennels in Mt. Sinai, Long Island New York. He was CH. Park-Cliffe Snowpack Sanorka, C.D - BISS. I proceeded to win Best of Breed with him at the 1967 Samoyed Club of America National Specialty. From then on I was committed to breeding dogs of extreme quality - soundness of body & mind. I only breed pups that I would want to own and would be proud to exhibit. Over the years there have been many highs and many many lows that nearly had me throwing in the towel - but somehow I keep coming back to breed that perfect dog. All my dogs are of OFA'd & CERF'd & I guarantee good temperament.

My kennel has produced many dogs that have achieved championship titles - obedience titles - agility titles and some therapy dogs.

When I sell my pups the most important thing is that the pups go into a loving home. Showing a dog is fine but a good home is more important.

In the span of time that has passed I have also done some judging of Samoyeds and other breeds. I have had the extreme honor of judging futurity at the 1998 S.C.A. National Specialty. I also have judged many sweepstakes at specialties across the United States.

I also did many photo shoots with my pups when I lived on Long Island. It was interesting and also tedious at the same time.

Gabby
I have bred and owned Ch. Sanorka's Moonlight Gambler, ROMC who was the Samoyed Club of Am.'s Top Stud Dog for the years of 1991, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000.

His son Am/Can Ch. Sanorka's Moonlite Trip t' Ren J - BISS was 2nd SCA Top Stud Dog for the years 1996 and 1999. Of course he was running against his father.

Travis
Travis (as he was called) also was S.C.A. Top winning dog in 1997 and Canadian Top Winning Dog in 1998. He also won Best of Breed at the Canadian (Samoyed) National Specialty in 1998.

Also, I owned a daughter of Gabby - Ch. Ren J's Go Go Dancer, BIS - BISS who was Samoyed Club of America's Top winning Bitch in 1993, 1994 and 1995. She also won four Best in Show Awards.

There were many high honors for my dogs but these are the ones people remember the most.
